thoughtful Stress-Free Wedding & Event Coordination
Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe
Hi, I’m Amanda!
I’m a mom of two, a wife of one, and the woman behind the curtain at Nine Lemons Events. I’m a lover of comfort rewatches and 70s punk, a rabid fan of Dolly Parton and Amy Sedaris, and the Nerds gummy cluster changed my life.
I am an avid listmaker (a legal pad hates to see me coming) and spreadsheet devotee. I have spent my entire adult life sweating small details and wrapping myself in the warm comfort of having multiple backup plans. After planning my own wedding, I realized how well suited that set of characteristics was to running an event and how much I enjoyed doing it. I’ve been in event coordination ever since!
It’s my goal for every couple that I work with to be able to relax and be present without worrying about what goes on behind the scenes (for all of the work and time you’ve put in, the only thing you should be worried about is enjoying your wedding day!).
I know so much thought goes into every aspect of a wedding, and it can be hard to hand it all over to somebody else and trust that they’ll get it right.
I take special care in the weeks leading up to your wedding to make sure I know exactly how you want your event to look and feel, so you can rest easy knowing your vision and all the little details you’ve poured your heart into are understood and handled with care.
To sum it all up, I’m here, I have your back, and what’s important to you is important to me.
Let’s get you married!

The Process
-
We’ll get together in person or by phone to go through all the details, think of it as a “get to know you” for your wedding. Together we’ll:
Go over decor, floor plans/venue layout, vendor team, etc.
Create a timeline - a comprehensive schedule of the day of your event from set up to tear down. We’ll determine what you want included in your wedding (toasts, dances, tosses, first looks, blessings, curses, etc.) and block out time for it all. This is what we’ll distribute to the vendor team and use to keep the event on time and on track.
Create an “itinerary” - I use that term loosely, really a breakdown all of the behind-the-scenes minutiae like what’s being brought to the venue (when, by who, etc.), where things like bouquets and cake will be stored to prevent melting/wilting until the ceremony, who is taking cards/gifts/props after the event, etc. This is what I use to make sure on the day of your event, no one is having to call you up and ask where something is or where something goes when you should be focused on getting married and enjoying your hard work. This is usually put together gradually over the course of the weeks leading up to the event, don’t worry if you don’t have answers to all of this yet!
Address any remaining concerns - this can be anything from specific event details that are keeping you up at night (mine was making sure my mood-setting cocktail hour playlist was played in the order I made it), making sure we’re able to accommodate any disabilities, allergies, etc. of a guest, family tensions, etc. If it’s got you worried, I want to know about it!
-
Love this part! This is when I take over as point of contact for the vendor team. From here on out, I’ll be responsible for:
Fielding any vendor questions regarding the event & timeline
Confirming all the day-of logistics; vendor arrivals/departures, deliveries, etc.
Any necessary troubleshooting
I also like to do a venue walkthrough together around this time. This gives me a chance to get familiar with the space and the point of contact for the venue. We can hammer out staging areas, procession paths, etc. prior to rehearsal and get a better idea of how best to set up the ceremony and rehearsal decor. It’s not always possible (and that’s okay!) but always beneficial!
-
Our last official meeting before rehearsal! Here we’ll finalize all of the details for the ceremony itself and prepare for rehearsal:
Finalize the procession order and pairings
Make a list of photo groups for your photographer
Create an itinerary for the wedding party for the day-of to be printed and distributed at rehearsal. This would include information like the address of the getting ready space(s), when they need to be there, what to bring, who is responsible for rings/cards/gifts/ etc. This is optional, but recommended!
We’ll do a final review of everything: timeline, decor, day-of logistics, any last minute updates or changes, etc.
My goal is to leave this meeting not having to ask you a single question on your wedding day other than “can I get you anything?”
-
You know what this is! You and your wedding party will get together at the venue to run through the ceremony, and I’ll be there to direct you.
We’ll go through the ceremony a few times, until everyone knows exactly where they’re supposed to be and what they’re supposed to do. Any questions or concerns will be addressed, and we’ll distribute itineraries to the wedding party.
-
This is where it all comes together! While you focus on enjoying all your hard work and getting married (!!), I’ll be in charge of:
Setting up decor, props, and signage at the ceremony and reception sites
Greeting vendors and directing set-ups and deliveries
Managing the timeline and keeping everything on track
Greeting guests and directing them to the ceremony site.
Wrangling and directing photo groups so we can get through posed photos quickly
Coordinating reception events with the vendor team (grand entrances, first dances, toasts, tosses, etc.)
Securing cards and gifts and handing them off to whoever you’ve designated responsible for them
Making sure you have the best time possible! Huge emphasis on this one. I am on call to make sure you have everything you want or need. I will keep your glass full and make sure you have a bite of everything, I’ll whisk you away from unwanted conversations, bounce crashers (ever kicked an unknown elderly woman in a bathing suit off a dance floor? I sure have.), handle any mishaps or issues that may arise, and just all around make sure nothing is your problem besides enjoying your wedding.
Coordinating your exit and ride from the venue
Tear-down and clean-up of the venue; packing up all props, decor, and signage and getting it to the designated person or spot at the end of the night
